Jaime Sands, born August 13, 1986, in Phillipsburg, NJ, is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist who inherited her artistic talent from her father and grandmother. She primarily focuses on acrylic painting, drawing, graphic design and photography. Currently still a resident of Phillipsburg, NJ, she is employed as a county government Purchasing Administrator and lives with her husband Chuck and their 5-year-old son, Parker. She uses art as a way to express herself and finds it to be a relaxing escape from daily routines.
Her work has been shown in multiple exhibitions at The Banana Factory in Bethlehem, PA and Connexions Gallery in Easton, PA. In September 2024, her first solo exhibition was on display in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. A second solo exhibition was on display September/October 2025 at 5 East Art Gallery in Washington, New Jersey.
She was a winner of the Hunterdon Art Museum's (Clinton, NJ) 2020 Masterpiece Challenge and the 2022 and 2023 winner of Artsquest/Banana Factory’s (Bethlehem, PA) Inktober Contests. Her design was selected for the Town of Rome, Maine Logo Design Contest in January 2024. She was chosen as the winner of the 2024 People First Credit Union Mural Contest (displayed currently at Center City Allentown branch). Her entry was selected as the winner of Phillipsburg’s Pork-Roll-Palooza Art Contest in October 2024.
She continues to create and hopes to gain more exposure in the near future.
